Weekend in Poland – but where to go?

European people are exploring more and more towns and countries in the globe, mainly because of cheap airline agencies. Nowadays we are able to go from one country to different one within couple hours, and the prices for the tickets are really small. If you want to go for a bigger vacations to some fascinating area, perhaps you could consider Poland? There are a lot of well towns there, with wealthy history. Today we prepare for you two really interesting places to visit – Gdansk, situated on the seashore, or Cracow – next to the hills, at the bottom of the Poland.

From most of the European larger cities, you will find very cheap flights to Krakow, depending on the season of your trip. This fascinating city use to be capital of Poland, in era, when it was one of the most rich kingdom in the whole world. If you are planning a trip during warmer period, you definitely have to get flights to Gdansk. It is situated on the Baltic seaside, so you should enjoy lovely weather at the beach. But this town is not only about the tanning, it is also about history. It use to be district of Germany for a huge period of time, when the most sophisticated pieces of architecture appears here. You could explore a lot of rare example for Mannerism architecture, mainly at the old town. It use to be a very important trading town, because of the Baltic Sea, so you could notice here a lot of secular buildings, even from the Medieval period (see something more). There are also couple of historical points, linked with World War Two history. Post office in Gdansk is famous for it brave fight during this time, when it was Independent city of Danzig. And at the night, you must definitely go for a beach party, to one of plenty of clubs located near the sea, it is amazing.

Poland is not just about the Wroclaw or Warsaw, the most fashionable travel locations there. If you like to have a party at the seashore and have a taste of history in the same place, locate some flights to Gdansk. On the second hand, for those who are a huge lovers of Medieval and Italian art, Krakow could be correct town, with legendary dragon at the cave and so on.
